This is a continuing piece that I was introduced to in Buenos Aires during a residency with Proyecto ‘ace.
Cecilia Mandrile and Alicia Candiani were nice enough to ask me to write a piece of music for this installation.
The result is a piano study for 5 hands that repeats melodies at irregular intervals.
Even though the melodies repeat, the piece itself never truly repeats.

This is the third album released as Soft K.
The music was made between 2016 and 2021. Some of the tracks are dance tracks, some are rejected film music.
The album came out on August 22, 2021.

The Heaping Kind is a 22min experimental film produced by Artistic Director Caitlin Adams and Co-Director Tariq Mitri.
THK unfolds like a still life, following four characters amidst a hallowed apartment.
Through visual storytelling, dance, and original music, THK architects an ethereal atmosphere existing within the tensions of our current reality.
